The much looked forward to World Gaming Festival started on 23rd September 2011 at Casino Royale Goa. The festival started in the evening with American Roulette and Blackjack with each table playing 30 spins and hands respectively. The top two chip leaders from each table moved to the next round, to be played on Day 2. The games carried on well in to the early hours with many contests being decided at the last hand and spin.
